Notice to the Market – Gradual Resume of Activities and New 1Q20 Earnings Release Schedule
AREZZO INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO S.A. (“Company”), communicates to its shareholders and the market in general that its division located in the municipality of Campo Bom (the Rio Grande do Sul State), started to partially return activities today, after a careful data evaluation and the adoption of a series of safety measures, such as the mandatory use of masks and temperature measurement in all its employees.
The municipality of Campo Bom – according to Municipal Decree No. 6,818 of April 20, 2020 – has allowed the resumption of business and commercial activities, and to date had only 4 cases of COVID- 19 – none of which required hospitalization – in addition to having the availability of ICU beds as well as rapid tests for the population.
In addition, after a period of suspension of activities, our factories, also located in the city of Campo Bom, resumed production today, still on reduced working hours.
Our distribution center in Cariacica (ES), which has customarily been operating since March, will run on an additional shift to meet the increase in demand from our web commerce channel.
Besides, we announce that approximately 15% of our store network (106 stores) have resumed their commercial activities and are open, following local municipal and/or governmental decrees, in addition to all necessary hygiene and social distance measures, to ensure the safety of all involved. The update of the number of open stores can be obtained daily with the Arezzo & Co IR team, which remains available to clarify any doubts.
Lastly, following CVM Resolution No. 849, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Company communicates that has changed the date of its first quarter of 2020 Earnings Release to May 27, 2020, after trading hours, with the conference call on May 28, 2020, at 11:00 am (Brazil time).
Therefore, Arezzo&Co will start its Quiet Period on May 13, 2020, ending on May 27, 2020, after the earnings release. From this date, the Investor Relations team will be prevented from commenting on information regarding 1Q20 results. The information not related to this period will continue to be generally addressed by the Company.
